Gianluigi Donnarumma’s agent has confirmed that the goalkeeper could be moving to the Premier League after being replaced at Paris Saint-Germain.
Enzo Raiola revealed that several English clubs are interested and could meet PSG’s financial requirements.
“From Gianluigi’s words, you can tell he is very sad about what happened. I was also surprised by PSG’s reaction,” Raiola said. “Four years of great results, and in just 10 days, it all fell apart.”
Raiola explained that PSG asked Donnarumma to accept new terms with a lower salary, which he agreed to because he was happy at the club. “At that point, we decided to stop everything and talk again after the Champions League final. The decision to leave was made during the Club World Cup,” he added, noting that they respected PSG’s request to keep the matter private.
“The Premier League could be an option because clubs there could meet PSG’s financial demands, although some of their requests were a bit exaggerated,” Raiola concluded.
