Bolton Wanderers have signed winger Ibrahim Cissoko from French Ligue 1 side Toulouse on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent.
The 22-year-old Dutch Under-21 international spent last season in England, splitting his time between Championship clubs Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield Wednesday. Across both spells, he played 20 matches and scored three goals — all during his stint with Plymouth.
Cissoko is now Bolton’s 12th signing of a busy summer transfer window under manager Steven Schumacher.
Speaking to the club’s website, Cissoko said:
“I really wanted to come back to England. I’m glad everything worked out in the end and I can’t wait to get started.”
