Bournemouth have completed the signing of Moroccan winger Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen in a transfer worth up to £25.1 million. He joins on a five-year contract and becomes the club’s seventh addition of the summer.
The 25-year-old, who can play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder, was a key part of Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga and German Cup double last season. He featured in 42 games, contributing 10 goals and 12 assists.
Since moving to Germany, Adli played 143 matches for Leverkusen before making the switch to the Premier League.
Bournemouth have been one of the busiest clubs in the market, with spending under new ownership now approaching £350 million. At the same time, the club has generated around £150 million in sales this summer, with Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi all leaving for European giants.
The Cherries are believed to be wrapping up their transfer business but could make one more move, with Chelsea defender Axel Disasi on their radar. While Bournemouth are considering a loan, Chelsea would prefer a permanent deal.
