Liverpool Eye Michael Olise as Future Salah Replacement Amid Busy Transfer Rumors

Liverpool are reportedly targeting Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as a potential long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, while other Premier League and European clubs are making moves ahead of the transfer window deadlines.

Liverpool target Olise
According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool have Olise, 23, on their shortlist as a future replacement for Salah, who turns 34 next year. The Bundesliga star impressed last season, contributing directly to 34 goals in 48 appearances for Bayern Munich across the league and Champions League. Olise has also started this season strongly, scoring in Bayern’s 3-2 win over Augsburg. A move to Anfield could cost around €100 million.

Premier League defenders in demand
Brighton’s Dutch defender Jan Paul van Hecke is being tracked by Liverpool, Tottenham, and Newcastle, reports TEAMtalk. The 25-year-old has made 34 league appearances last season, but Brighton have already rejected multiple offers. Van Hecke may now consider a switch to a Champions League club.

Manchester United goalkeepers available
The Sun reports that Manchester United are willing to let either André Onana (29) or Altay Bayindir (27) leave this month. United are set to make new signing Senne Lammens their first-choice keeper. Onana could depart to play in the Africa Cup of Nations, while Bayindir may return to Turkey’s Super Lig after a slow start to the season.

Saudi Pro League interest in Maguire
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has attracted interest from Saudi clubs, according to The Sun. The 32-year-old could consider a move at the end of the season, when his contract enters its final six months, allowing non-Premier League clubs to approach him on a pre-contract deal.

Inter Milan eye Malick Fofana
Serie A side Inter Milan are reportedly interested in Lyon winger Malick Fofana, 20, as a potential January signing. Tuttosport reports that Inter see him as an alternative to Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman. Fofana recently scored for Belgium in a 6-0 World Cup qualifier victory and has been attracting attention across Europe thanks to his Ligue 1 form.
